INTRODUCTION
Runaway Dissent is about two deeply troubled families crossing paths and becoming entangled in each other's lives. It mainly deals with themes of love, hatred, injustice, power (or lack thereof), and confronting the past. Here, moments of innocent levity intermingle with domestic drama-- and at times gothic influence.
